EvaluAgent wins coveted Northern Stars award from Tech North

Since EvaluAgent was founded, our mission has been to challenge the status quo through delivering innovative solutions to one of the North’s biggest employers, contact centres. So of course, we’re more than proud to announce we have been selected as a winner of Northern Stars, a Tech North initiative designed to support digital startups from across the North of England.

The North was once considered the industrial powerhouse of the UK, and with recent developments and investments in London’s technology industry, the region has gone unnoticed in its capacity as a hub for continual innovation. The North should be recognised as an appealing place for technology startups to thrive, and the Northern Stars initiative seeks to address this by highlighting the talent and potential in the region.

EvaluAgent applied for participation at the start of November, and after being shortlisted, we presented our three minute pitch at the Grand Final in Manchester this week in front of a panel of judges including representatives from Seedcamp and Startup Bootcamp, and some of the UK’s leading voices on business technology.

As one of the 10 winners of the 2015 Northern Stars award competition, EvaluAgent recieves a place in the Tech North pavilion at TechCrunch Disrupt, meetings with some of Europe’s leading early stage investors, and the opportunity to pitch at a dedicated investor pitch event at Bloomberg, London.

The entire EvaluAgent team is thrilled to see the leading voices on technological innovation have recognised the value in our mission - to make contact centres home to great customer service by giving businesses the tools and support they needs to empower, motivate and engage their staff.
